The Characters

Cory, Fro, Bristles, Stale, and Chanler are happy to meet you. You'll meet the rest of Cory's friends (and some enemies) in the book!

Cory

Cory is a good piece of popcorn that falls into a bad situation when he finds himself separated from his family. Naturally warm and polite, Cory instantly gravitates towards new friends and always tries to stay positive. Cory shows just how much one little popcorn can overcome when the phrase "I can’t" is never a part of his vocabulary.

Fro

Born in Jamaica, Fro is a witty afro pick with one strong personality. His tough exterior was strengthened by hard times as a child. Fro faces problems with trusting others, but he’s a tenderhearted friend. His challenge shows us that it’s never too soon to tell those around you just how much you care.

Bristles

Bristles is a blonde brush who loves style and fashion. At times, Bristles is stubborn and self-centered, but her nurturing instincts kick in when she notices the pain of others.

Stale

An old, clever popcorn, Stale is the voice of reason for the group. Stale’s white beard is almost as long as his well of wisdom, which he gladly shares whenever his friends need advice. Stale always knows the right words to say to bring calm and comfort. Already being familiar with the dangers of the trip, Stale guides the group of friends on their journey to find Cory’s family.

Chanler

Chanler is a friendly tv remote control that loves to explore. Always discovering new places, this is one busy tv guide. When he meets up with Cory while climbing a mountain, hilarity ensues as Chanler learns the true meaning of "channel surfing."
